This is part of my own personal collection: I read and re-read each of them and loved them all. I was given these book by my father when I was a young girl - he bought them at used book stores - and I am nearly 70 now! Nancy Drew was self-reliant, brilliant, and even a little bit mouthy and she truly inspired me and taught me that being a girl wasn't a handicap — it was an advantage.
