Virgin Mary necklace with best lapis beads

This is a necklace of the Blessed Mother. The charm is about the size of a dime. The charm is Vermeil (gold plate over sterling silver), beautiful blue *guilloche enamel.
*Guilloche is a decorative technique in which a precise, intricate, and repetitive pattern is engraved best into an underlying material via engine turning, which uses a machine called a rose engine lathe.
The charm was manufactured in France in the 1940's and the plant closed in 1950. This is a brand new charm but vintage in the sense of when it was manufactured. I was able to acquire only a few of the remaining stock so when this is gone it cannot be replenished. This is a rare item.

The added beads are 4mm lapis lazuli added with gold filled wire. The chain is also gold filled. This is a rare necklace handmade in a unique way to display this beautiful Mary medal from France. This necklace is a tribute to our Blessed Mother and her heavenly beauty. The necklace is 17 inches with a 2 inch extender so that it can be worn two ways.
