1940s Large Purple best Velvet Clutch Pocketbook

This is a large purple velvet clutch pocketbook from the 1940sd. Both sides of the handbag are gathered and puffy and both sides of the large, almost square flap have a design of decorative stitching. The interior single compartment is lined with pink faille. This is a very unusual clutch handbag. It is 21 inches long by 10 inches wide and apporoximately3 inches at best the sides. Excellent condition, withou5t damage of any kind, inside or out.
