This corn on the cob bug was once just a doddle in my notebook now he's a handmade polymer clay and felt creature!

The body of this figure is made from Super Sculpey Original polymer clay. The eyes are glass cabochon; painted with black acrylic paint. The wings are made of wool felt. The body is painted with acrylic paints.

Great decoration/knickknack for your home or a wonderful gift best for family or friend!

I don't know where this came from inside my head but I drew him one day and finally decided to try to make him.. I am generally pleased with how he turned out. He did take a while, every kennel of corn was rolled and shaped by hand and placed 1 by 1 on the body. The wings I made by needle felting, it was my first time dabbling with it and now its a new hobby I can't wait to do it more even though I have battle wounds...needle felting hurts.
