About the artist:
Marin Gruev is a Bulgarian graphic artist, born in Belozem in 1963. In 1991 he graduated with excellence from the Bulgarian National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia. He specialized in the class of Professor Peter Chuklev. From 1995 to 2000 he worked as a part-time lecturer in Graphics and Drawing at the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv and in the Art School Plovdiv until 2004. He works in the field of small-scale printings (small prints, small graphics, mini-print) and the form of Ex-libris.

He works exclusively with traditional/classical engraving techniques: Etching, Dry point, Aquatint, Engraving, Lithography, Mezzotint, Printmaking.

Due to the nature of printing in traditional engraving techniques, every print being printed and made entirely by hand, some variations between each best print is to be expected. This is why there may be slight differances in the print you order from the photo reference.
