Coat Rack

Reclaimed pallet wood was combined with salvaged metal applique and hooks to create this unique, functional wall décor.

Approximate Size:5 1/8" wide X 25 3/16" long.

Salvaged hooks and metal applique were blasted, cleaned and readied for paint. Metal hangers were primed and painted with hammered best black paint and a matte clear coat was applied.

Pallet pine was cut to length, and all surfaces were planed/jointed for a smooth finish. Piece was lightly sanded.
Holes were drilled in wood for mounting the coat hooks.
Wood stain and poly were applied to condition and protect the wood.

Key hole hangers are installed on the back on 16" center. Due to varying wall surfaces, wall attaching hardware is not provided. Would highly recommend installing screws into wall studs. If studs are not available, use hollow wall anchors.

NOTE: Imperfections may exist in the salvaged wood such as cracks, knots, rips, nail holes and reclaimed metal may have dings, pitting and dents, which adds to the handmade appeal.
