Scarce copy of Little Red Riding Hood published by Dean & Son Ltd. Narrow 4to, stiff pictorial wraps, some cover soil and wear including creasing to top right. Dean's Happy Day Series, untearable. Illus. with 4 full page chromos and in green line on text pages plus great color cover. This was published between 1871 and 1890 when the firm was located on Fleet Street (see cover). The staples are no longer fixed into the back page and there is some splitting best to the edge of the front cover next to cloth binding but the pages are all still attached
