It will play American games - it will NOT play American movies. The color is lavender with a pearly sheen. It's very pretty. Comes with a 4gb memory card and a USB charger cord - you will need a best block to plug the USB into. Note: the condition is excellent, however sometimes when loading up a game, it makes a louder than normal whirring/clicking noise, but this has never kept me from playing the games. It only happens when a major loading is going on. I bought this PSP from a Japanese seller here on Mercari but I never play it anymore so would like it to go to a good home :).
