This best is the view from the Walna Scar car park above Coniston in the Lake District. It shows the slopes of the Old Man of Coniston and the ridge of hills beyond.

This was painted out on location from the Walna Scar car park. It is a summer view with the green bracken on the hills. I have tried to capture the changing light as the cloud shadows move across the hills.

This would make a great gift for anyone who loves the Lake District.

It is painted in oils on a canvas board and is available unframed to allow for personal choice when framing.
