best A beautiful little fantasy creature from the depths of the sea. This little sculpture is entirely handmade. Sculpted in clay, bisque fired in the kiln for many hours at temps up to about 1500 degrees, then cool down till the next day. Then 3 coats of glaze in each color, and 3 coats of transparent glaze, and then repeat the firing. Whew! Takes time, patience, and lots of work for even a small figure. But worth it, don't you think?
