This scarf offers 2 different looks, and is reversible. One side has light pink silky fiber details over the lighter pink area of the scarf. The reverse side features shiny fiber accents in a deeper shade of pink. Bright light or sunlight reflects in these fibers and gives the wool more depth and sheen. Viscose fiber also aides in reducing piling and feels wonderful against the skin.
This unique scarf is classic, chic and gorgeous!
Merino is one of the finest and softest wools and it feels great next to the skin. Mulberry silk fiber, viscose, or Lyocell fibers if applied, add luster and additional softness. The more frequently you wear the scarf the softer it becomes. This particular scarf is lightweight. The ruffled edges best have an airy look to them. It is not heavy or stiff and it feels very soft.

FAQs:
Q. Is Merino wool itchy?
A. Merino clothing isn't itchy. All woven wool fabrics and felt have protruding fibers that press against the skin, but Merino wool fibers are more flexible and softly bend, thus eliminating any itchy feel. The coarser fibers of some wool producing breeds are wider and stiffer causing irritation whereas Merino's fine fibers are much softer. Some people that are overly-sensitive may find 100% wool uncomfortable. Merino blended with silk or viscose will improve the softness(hand) of the fabric.
Q. How do I launder my felted clothing and accessories?
A. Wool is naturally stain resistant and resistant to body odors and should require very minimal laundering.
If your woolen item requires laundering please hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent meant for woolen garments. A very, small amount of fabric softener may be added to the rinse. Keep in mind that fabric softener may impede wool's natural wicking ability. Roll gently in a towel to absorb water, reshape and lay flat to dry.
Never place your woolen item in the dryer. Please do not wring or twist your felted accessories, to do so will cause distortion.
Steam iron on wool setting if needed. Please do not press the iron over firestar fibers.
Q. Why is Merino wool so expensive?
A. Merino is a breed of sheep highly prized for its soft and finely crimped wool. From a technical perspective, the diameter of a wool fiber is measured in microns. The lower the micron number, the finer the fiber, which can also impact its cost. Because the demand of finer low micron wool has risen greatly in the past few years, prices have gone up due to available supplies. Environmental factors have also greatly impacted the price of wool.
