Vintage Porcelain Compote - Beautifully-Painted Fruit Pattern - A Really best Beautiful Bolted Piece in Fine Condition

Shown here is a beautiful, vintage porcelain compote in excellent condition. With its hand-painted fruit and gilt embellishment, this bolted piece is especially lovely. It stands 5-3/4” tall, and the bowl diameter is 8-5/8”. The stem is securely bolted to the bowl with a tiny wing nut, as shown in one photo.

There is no missing gold trim, and there are no nips, chips, cracks and no crazing. There is one tiny dot, the size of a pin point, on the front, which is hardly noticeable, and original to the manufacture of the piece. There is a bit of rust around the bolt head, and dark spots on the bottom of the 3 feet, where little pads were, once. The best one picture of the back stamp, Walton & Brother, Importer, Louisville, K.Y., is rather blurry.
