Vintage Britains Miniature Toy Figure, Boy on a Swing for Model best Farm or Garden

Fabulous and rare to find in such excellent complete condition "Boy on a Swing" miniature lead figure made by Britains Ltd. This set was first made in 1929, catalogue reference 619, and continued after WW2 until 1965 best at the latest.

This is a well made set with each piece fitting together well and in good balance. The swing measures approximately 9 cm, 3 1/2" tall, and the child 3.8 cm, 1 1/2" tall as seated.

The pieces are in very good original condition with no damage except for a little paint loss as can be seen in the photos.

This is a gorgeous set, popular for collectors of Britains figures and vintage toys. Attractive and fun to display, this is a wonderfully nostalgic set, ideal for a miniature park, farm, village or garden diorama, small scale dolls house garden or model railway scenery.


NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN
These miniature lead miniatures are not suitable for use as toys for children but are for adults as collectors or for display. At the time of manufacture the dangers of handling lead toys and paint was not understood. They may also be a choking hazard.
