HISTORY:
The net lace darning technique that began in the early 1900's. It's darning that is made to look like lace. There's a lot of drawnwork that creates the geometrical patterns. There's also a floral design that has been embroidered using the same net darning or filet stitching. This type of needlecraft produces a beautiful one-of-a-kind piece that resembles an antique French style of lace.
