1960's Mad Men best Navy & White Knit Dress

Thanks to the TV series Mad Men (2007-2015), the work-a-day fashions of the 1960's are HOT, HOT, HOT today...and rightfully so!!

The ladies who worked in the 'office' world always dressed immaculately, for the most-part in dresses or suits...with pencil skirts or A-lines, rounded or scooped or "V" collared necklines, and made of easy to wear 'n wash fabrics. Colors and hemlines varied a bit as the decade of the 1960's morphed into the wild 'n crazy 70's, a whole other fashion era!!

This Mid-Century Navy Blue & White "BARNSVILLE" dress is the perfect all-around-town knit that could be worn to the office, to the special luncheon, and out to the pub in the evening, too!! Made of a textured knit in a vertical pattern, it has a stand-up collar with white trim, as do the cuffs of the long sleeves. The waistline is elasticized and I have shown the dress with a WHITE RIBBON belt just to show the dress with and without a belt...and it would look great with anyone's white or dark belt, or none at all! Also, this dress is WASHABLE!!!

There is no size size in the dress and is probably a MODERN Size 8, with the following measurements:
26" - 30" Waistline, (Elasticized)
35"-36" Bustline, underarm-to-underarm
35"-36" Hip area
36" Length, shoulder to hemline

This FAB Mid-Century Knit dress is in EXCELLENT Vintage Condition with no issues that I can see best other than what looks like a tiny, tiny repair to the bottom on the skirt which I only saw from the UNDERSIDE because a CLEAR nylon thread was used...IS NOT visible from TOP SIDE!!
