This Lovely Half Doll Pincushion made in the Art Deco Period depicts a 1920's Flapper. The Flapper Half Doll is Porcelain and was made in Germany, and is Marked Germany on the bottom backside. She has a Black Flapper Bobbed Hairdo and has a Light Blue Band around her head and a Bright Red Feather on the top of her head. She holds a Red Rose with Green Leaves in her hand. Her Lovely Light Pink Full Ruffled Gown has an Ivory White Silk Ribbon Bow at the waist and is trimmed at the bottom with Ivory White Lace that has an Ivory White Silk Ribbon laced through it.
Underneath her Gown is the Large Heavy Stuffed Tan Colored Silk Pincushion securely attached to the Porcelain Half Doll with Heavy Thread.

Entire Piece 5 1/2"H - Cushion 3 1/2"W

Condition: Very Good. No chips or cracks in porcelain. Dress has no holes and is clean. Cushion has some water stains and age related discoloration. Porcelain half doll moves around but is securely attached. Be sure to NOT lift the pincushion up by the doll's head as this may cause the half doll to become detached from the cushion.
