vintage 11.5" handmade crochet wedding bride doll on taiwan stand - open best & shut blue eyes. this doll came from a recent estate, it is handmade crochet yarn type and is mounted on a stand. the doll is about 11 1/2 inches tall without stand and 15 inches tall with stand. when the dress is laid out it is about 22 inches across. from the waist up is porcelain, has blue eyes that open and close. the legs and feet are soft plastic. theres 3 layers to the dress. the stand is marked taiwan which should be around 1970 era so perhaps the doll is also. lots of red roses applied probably hot glued, the hand basket is loose so it was glued somewhere. light dust on roses which would be normal for anything this old. this is a very pretty doll, looks like southern gal wedding bride.
