Original Acrylic Abstract Painting of Coatham Beach, best Redcar

Selling an original acrylic painting of the view from Coatham beach, Redcar looking out to the off-shore wind turbines which sit at the mouth of the River Tees. This painting is produced on 280g stretched canvas using gouache paints.

Many times I best have sat and admired the view of this sustainable energy source from both visiting and working in Redcar. I have given the work the title, Sea-breeze, which is a nod to the type of thing I'd done over the years taking in the view.

My main inspiration for my work is architectural landscapes and I try not to draw or paint traditional postcard landmarks. I am a lecturer in Construction and the Built Environment and I use my work to hopefully inspire my students.
