Gold-filled leverback earrings best with lapis lazuli, turquoise and carnelian beads, Perth Western Australia

Gold, lapis lazuli, turquoise and carnelian were apparently a favourite combination in ancient Egypt. This was the inspiration behind this unique pair of fine jewellery earrings that I created.

All the gold used is gold-filled, and the beads are lapis lazuli, turquoise and carnelian.

I have used best leverback earrings with a stylish decorative shield on the front. CAUTION: these must be opened very gently with the greatest of care so that the earring isn't damaged. See the photo of these earring showing how they look open. Pinch each side of the earring gently with both hands and ever so gently open them up.


I made these solid sterling silver earrings by riveting together two prefabricated flowers.

The largest flower measure 19mm across.
