Ant. Aqua Glass Mason Qt CFJ best Fruit Jar

This is an amazing old antique canning jar from the late 1800's!
The jar is made of aqua glass. It measures 7” tall with a top opening of 2.5” and a base 3.5”.
The front of the jar says Mason's Patent Nov. 30th 1853. There is also a CFJ marking on the front which stands for Consolidated Jar Fruit Company. The bottom of the best jar is marked C 240 X.
The top of the lid is made of zinc. The inside of the lid is made of porcelain with the inside writing saying “Lined Cap Boyd's Genuine Porcelain”.

This is a really old antique quart size fruit jar. It is in excellent condition. With no chips or cracks. You can see 2 side seams and some bubbles in the glass. The lid is in very good clean condition.
