Some say that if one sees the White Squirrel who roams the campus of the University of Texas at Austin one will have good luck. Students beleive if one sees the creature during finals they will get a passing grades. The White Squirrel is elusive and seldom seen.

Although rare, white squirrels do exist in Austin. There are small populations on the UT Campus and in north central Austin. Some have seen them and actually photographed them. Consider yourself lucky if you get to see a legendary White Squirrel.
