All thermal pads were replaced, and the CPU and GPU were delided and fresh ARCTIC best MX-4 brand thermal paste was applied. This prolongs the consoles life and helps it run smoother. The battery on the motherboard was replaced as well, avoiding the “C bomb” issue that older PS3s have, disallowing non disc games to start. It runs quietly, especially for the model and year.
