Smokey quartz like other quartz varietals is great for energy clearing and protecting your aura from negativity. What is unique to smokey quartz is that it is more grounding than other quartz, it is also excellent for helping to battle depression. Snow quartz is helpful is letting go of overwhelming responsibilities and limitations. A very powerful piece for those of us who struggle with anxiety and depression.

For whatever reason smokey quartz seems to be more difficult to find in good condition, that is why I do charge a little more than for my clear or snow quartz pieces.
