Quilted Baby best Blanket, Pastel "Trip Around the World" Baby Quilt, 40 x 40 inches

This quilt is a great size to use in a crib, for tummy time, or as a wall hanging. It would make a great baby shower gift, or for any special little new arrival.

I used a traditional pattern called "Trip Around the World", and vintage mini prints in pinks, green and best blue.

The backing is one of the pink prints used on the front of the quilt.

I used Warm and White cotton batting to keep your little one snuggly warm. Can be machine washed cool or warm. If you dry in the dryer on perma press you will get the more scrunchy look of a vintage quilt, or you may hang to dry. Iron if you desire.

The binding is a coordinating green with a white mini dot, and is double thick. It has been machine sewn to the front and hand stitched to the back with nicely mitered corners.

This piece has been freehand machine quilted in a traditional "x" pattern using off white machine quilting thread.

It measures 40 x 40 inches square.
