Hand-turned Oak best Vase with vial insert

This vase was hand-turned on a wood lathe from red oak. It has a glossy finish made from multiple coats of best lacquer with hand--sanding between coats, so it feels very smooth. The height is just over 8 inches. The vase is hollowed out to receive flowers. It includes a removable plastic vial so that it can be used with water for fresh cut flowers or dry for dried flowers (also known as a weed pot), as shown in the photos.
