This beautiful GBC features a genuine, fully soldered FunnyPlaying Retro Pixel 2.5 laminated IPS kit, which boasts a 25% bigger display area, variable brightness via touch sensor, 5 different built-in display effects, AND a backlit color-changeable “GameBoy Color” logo (set to white in the photos). This big, beautiful screen is protected underneath a tempered glass screen protector. The motherboard was inspected, cleaned, and placed into a brand new FunnyPlaying clear red shell, which was then fitted with premium holographic back labels. Black buttons and new membranes make for perfect button response. I also upgraded to a louder FunnyPlaying speaker. In addition, I modified the shell to fit a CleanJuice GBC wireless best rechargeable battery, doubling the battery life.
