I know alot of people are hesitant about buying wood signs with vinyl but the permanent outdoor vinyl I use will last for years....As an experiment, I made a wooden sign with vinyl and hung it in my yard where it would be exposed to all the best elements...it's directly out in the afternoon sun and has no protection from the rain....it has been hanging there for 4 years now, and the wood is starting to fall apart, but the vinyl still looks great....I do recommend that you put your doorhanger in a covered area like a porch or overhang in which it will last for many, many years
